Montreux

The jewel in the crown of the Swiss Riviera, the lively city of Montreux is nestled between Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps.  Famous for its summer Jazz Festival, Montreux enjoys a Mediterranean style micro climate.

The Montreux region is surrounded by some of the highlights of Swiss Tourism including the Chillon Castle and the Lavaux UNESCO vineyards.  The city itself boasts some excellent restaurants and bars as well as many interesting boutiques and shops.

Montreux is located just one hour by train from Geneva International airport making it very accessible for both local and international visitors.  There are also excellent travel links by rail to the surrounding countries including Italy, France, Germany and Austria.
